If you have a blank black screen on your cable system try this:
1. Confirm digital box is on by pressing power button on the box.
2. Confirm TV is on CH 3 or 4 for digital box or correct input if DVR.
3. Confirm TV and digital box is plugged in
4. Confirm TV is working by bypassing digital box or plugging in vcr/dvd player.
If everything seems correct your digital box could be fried, if you bypass your digital box with the coax cable, autotune/autoscan in tv menu, once the operation has completed it will provide scanned/available channels, if it didnt find any channels, call your cable provider and tell them the steps you completed.
